US Election Scams
On November 5, US voters will go to the polls to choose the next President as well as a number of senators and other representatives. With relentless fundraising emails, heated discussions, and many voters looking for alternative news outlets, scammers are making use of the elections to target unsuspecting victims.
Our newest course trains users on spotting some of the most common real scams that have already appeared this election season, as well as giving them tips and practical advice on how to protect themselves from any new scams that could arrive in their inboxes.
We've also created simulation templates duplicating some of the vicious scams that have been unleashed by cyber criminals ahead of this year's elections. Help your users stay safe - enrol your users and send them their simulation templates today.
Cyber Security Awareness Month
This October organisations, institutions and countries across the world once again mark Cyber Security Awareness Month. Originally ideated by the Department of Homeland Security in 2004 to increase awareness of cyber risks in the US, the event has grown to become a world-wide phenomenon.
CSAM is a great opportunity to discuss and remind users of cyber security risks and best practices. It's also a fantastic opportunity to reach out to new prospects. We have created a security awareness kit to help you drive secure user behaviour this October, including videos and content you can share with any customer or prospect.
We've also released two new courses in the Course Library to help you train your users on this year's most threatening cyber risks.
Cybersecurity Awareness Month - Advice

Infostealer Malware
A highly sophisticated Infostealer malware phishing attack has recently been uncovered by cybersecurity experts. This malware spreads through email and is able to avoid detection whilst stealing a wide range of personal information.
The scammer sends out a false payment order, which is especially enticing for users working in finance and payment operations. Once downloaded, the malware hidden inside the document is able to infect the user's device and start sending sensitive information such as passwords to the cyber criminal.
In our new training course, users will learn how to recognise this phishing attack, the potential risks and consequences if you fall victim and the actions you can take to protect yourself. We've also created phishing templates emulating the emails sent out as part of this scam.

The Colorado Privacy Act
An increasing number of US states are instituting their own privacy regulations. Recently, Colorado has implemented the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA) to give residents greater control over their personal data.
This course covers the rights the CPA grants to consumers, the requirements it imposes on businesses, the standards for valid consent, the potential penalties for non-compliance and how to ensure you stay compliant.
